A. Grouping Colors Based on Raw Material Basis
Thermoset Pure Epoxy is designed for applications that need high resistance against different chemical substances (acid, sulfuric, salt, solvent) and mechanical properties (impact, bending) and also corrosion. This finish has a very beautiful surface that offer excellent chemical resistance in harsh indoor environments and commonly used for interior applications. This low UV-light powder is great for base coats. Epoxy is suitable for surfaces in high corrosion environment, but not recommend using this powder on any products requiring UV-light exposure resistance.
Application: Pipelines and industrial pipes, electrical pieces for insulation, medical and hospital equipment, decorative home appliance, machinery and car accessories.
Thermoset Epoxy-Polyester (known as Hybrid) are recognized for their best results in interior usage. As well as, in a better price range in comparison with the pure epoxy series. These powder coatings cure at low temperatures compared to other types of coatings. They will render in richer colors and glossier finishes than pure epoxy based coatings and possess good chemical and mechanical properties. As well as, good appearance and outstanding over baking resistance.
This series has an excellent surface, ideal for various spectrums and different glossiness are of significant specification. That is why this powder is used in the highest consumption all over the world. This coating is similar to the pure epoxy series, the significant difference is that Epoxy-Polyester (Hybrid) has a better resistant against environmental circumstances because of the polyester resin in their formulations. But they are not recommended for outside application because of poor UV-light resistance.
Application: Home appliances, car accessories (not exposed to UV Sunlight), office and school equipment, electrical objects and internal panels and shelves.
Thermoset Polyester series have not only the advantage of Epoxy-Polyester group but also they have good resistance for outdoor use against UV sunlight, although they are applicable indoors as well. This is by far the most popular finish of powder coating on the market. Generally used where UV Sunlight is present.
Chemical Resistance: Polyester series have good resistance to many solvents and chemical substances but it should be tested before any application that chemical resistance is appropriate according to final product usage.
Application: Aluminum sections, window/door frames, metallic structural components, outdoor light equipment, Building structures, traffic signs and boards, home appliances and automobile parts.
This finish is considered to be the most high-end version of polyesters. Thermoset polyurethane series coatings are beautiful, smooth and level surface which possess outstanding chemical and mechanical properties. They are ideal coatings which attracted considerable attention of Industries in the recent years. These powders are very resistant, formulated for exterior environment to UV Sunlight, whitening, humidity and corrosion.
B. Grouping Colors Based on Design and Appearance
Hammertone powders are very popular and have a unique pattern with high quality, in a variety of different colors. It is recommended to use a protective clear coat after baking to get high durability and rubbing resistance. It is in a significant importance to pay attention the appropriate thickness (above 80 Micron) and thermal shock during baking. They reduce the color waste and expenses because these powders can be recycled many times, also mixed with the new powder, without causing any damage. They are highly acknowledged by aluminum and decoration industries.

A wrinkle texture looks similar to the sand texture, except it’s ‘tighter’ and feels rougher. Wrinkle textures are not compatible with glosses. Wrinkle coatings create specific and beautiful veins on the substrate and is produced in different colors, fine textures and crocodile design patterns.

Wood & Stone Design Powder Coating
Powder coating is revolutionizing the MDF market because it offers design freedoms other finishing methods and laminating processes just cannot provide. This method protects MDF products from chips, stains, spills, and scratches. Some woods/wood products have sufficient and consistent moisture content to provide conductivity and can be coated directly.

Transparent (Clear Coat)
